Chairman’s Message

Greetings !

On behalf of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Steering Committee, it is my distinct honour to welcome you to the 5th Edition of CII Surface & Coating Expo 2025. CII has been organising this flagship event since 2014 and the event has received an overwhelming response from the industry.

Started in 2014, today it is one of the largest and exclusive events of surface and coating technologies in the country with big participation of companies/industries from Asia. I would like to thank all the Steering Committee Members, Sponsors, Exhibitors, Delegates and Business & Trade Visitors for making all SCE events in the past a grand and successful event.

We are thrilled to host the SCE 2025 event at Chennai, India, which brings together thought leaders, innovators, industry professionals, and visionaries from across the globe to discuss, showcase, and explore the latest technologies and developments in the Surface Coating Industry. Chennai, the capital city of Tamil Nadu state, has a strong economic base with automobile, software services, medical tourism, hardware manufacturing and financial services, and industries in petrochemicals, textiles, and apparels. Chennai is also nicknamed as The Detroit of Asia due to the presence of major automobile manufacturing units and allied industries around the city.

Over the 3 day of the SCE 2025 event, as in the past an impressive exhibition will be held showcasing the latest products, services, and technologies that are shaping for the future. Concurrently, dynamic conference programs will feature world-class speakers and insightful panel discussions on Surface Coatings, Electroplating, Corrosion Technology & Management, Adhesives & Sealants, Automotive Materials and Fabrication. Additionally, a Certified Training Course on Paints & Coatings will be organised. We are confident that the knowledge and insights shared here will spark new initiatives, foster innovative solutions, and pave the way for continued growth in our industry.

SCE 2025 edition will also uniquely serve as a platform to connect academia and industry, fostering collaboration to enhance skill development and open up new career opportunities for the talented graduate students and younger generation.
